What We Believe...

We believe the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is inspired, God-breathed, and “it is God’s superintendence of human authors, so that they composed without error, His revelation to man in the words of the original autographs”. (Charles C. Ryrie)
The Bible is a perfect treasure of divine instruction!

We believe in One True and Living God revealing Himself in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the Trinity! We believe in the confession of the Three-ness and faith in the One-ness of the Creator of creation!

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  He is God incarnate, fully God, and fully man. We believe His atoning death on the cross was substitutionary. We believe He literally and physically resurrected bodily from the dead and that He ascended into heaven. We believe He will personally and victoriously return from heaven with great power and glory to judge and to rule.

We believe in the Person and work of the Holy Spirit. He is fully God and equal with the Father and the Son in all His Holy attributes. He convicts, He regenerates, He baptizes, He indwells, He fills and seals all true believers in Jesus Christ. God’s love demonstrated in the believer’s life is the best evidence of a believer under the control and influence of the Holy Spirit!

We believe salvation is a free gift from God and of God. Salvation is received by man through repentance toward God and by a personal and living faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. Man cannot, in his own power, save himself. Man is spiritually dead, ignorant, spiritually blind, sinful from birth and is in need of a new spiritual birth from above, in order to receive the gift of eternal life. God, the Holy Spirit moves man in his heart enabling him and gifting him to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. So God and God alone receives all glory and honor for man’s salvation!

We believe that all true believers are secure in Christ Jesus! All true believers in Jesus Christ are called, commanded, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live a life of faith in action in the Spirit which is a holy life and pleasing to the Lord!
